I am not going to do anything out of character or worthy of juicy gossip. I am however am going to do some meaningful, joyful, and carefree things. What makes that interesting you say? Well if you know me you will see that the notable things apply before I even walk out the door. It is 6:41 am and I need a shower, to pick out clothing, put together a purse, and help Tim out the door. I have to get to my doctor's office by 8:30 (ish) to pick up a lab order and give blood before I start to have fun. Again the notable things are I am going to leave my bed unmade (really), not put the dishes in sink in dishwasher, not put away my laundry (not really a surprise), and not tend to the many distractions of a home not picked up last night because I went to the bed with a headache at sunset. This is HUGE for me. I am not spic and span clean but my house is usually in order!
Today I choose to give myself a quick facial. I choose to iron my clothes. I choose to apply lip liner before the lipstick and eyeliner top and bottom of my eyes. I choose to apply lotion to my legs not just my arms. I choose to walk out the door w/o looking back. Why?
I choose to look my best to feel my best! Ladies, why do we walk around with half done, tired and "woe is me" faces. (Sorry, couldn't help myself). I want to look my best as I greet my special friends from my former work place. I want to be my best as I help them shop for their family Christmas presents. I want to add to their joy, by laughing with them, hugging them, and celebrating their giving! These friends are converging on Westgate Mall at 10:00am. There will be 50+ of them. Most of them will be ever so grateful for the Mall experience. You see we think nothing of going to the mall and shopping. But these lovely people will get a free lunch, a personal shopper-caregiver, and a Christmas bonus to spend, and they will do it in wheelchairs, walkers, and with developmental disabilities. Ladies, I can't think of anything more special than being with them this morning.
Later I will join a friend for lunch. We will meet, eat and lose track of time. We will laugh, lament, and leave closer in our relationship. We don't get together often but when we do, we pick up from where we left. She has become one of my friends who aren't "High Maintenance". I love the friends who don't think your are mad because you haven't called them in days. You hear me, girlfriends?
My afternoon will end when I meet Tim after school and go get my son from college for the weekend. Yahoo! I love my big moose! He comes home often and each time I get butterflies in my stomach anticipating seeing him. My boys are work but they have my heart forever. Do your kids give you the butterflies? Maybe I am silly.
The day will end with the house still untidy. But my family will be together. Kevin will come home from Greenville. We will try and stay warm (our heat is almost gone-gas-no pay until 15th-boo hoo) and we will laugh. We will go to bed and I will have to make it before we get in it - weird I know. The day will have been filled with light fun things!
Now for the kicker....
I HAVE TO ASK FATHER GOD FOR HIS PLANS!
Yes, ladies all my plans are contingent on Him. I still know that He comes first.
I have to go now. It is 7:00am. It's time to seek Him and get in the shower, girlfriend! My pampering awaits. Yeah right...we'll see how it goes. I will report later.

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
THERE IS ALWAYS ENOUGH TIME IN A DAY TO DO GOD'S WILL!
