Did you really want to know this?

Hello Friends, I am showing my faulty side....a lack of follow through.  Sorry.  I truly love to post on my blog.  I have so many thoughts and experiences during the day that I want to share.  The very life I want to share somehow gets too busy and distracted to sit down and post. 

Today I am going to try and keep things light.  I have often posted my serious side..the challenges, struggles and lessons learned.  I want to let you in on my quirky side.  This is an opportunity to get to know me better.  Three things you may not know about me:


Not funny!

1.  According to a Facebook ad, I can get Botox from the top 1% of doctors in America for $10.50 a unit.  I can afford this.  I have wrinkles and would love to fix my droopy mouth.  So what does $10.50 buy me?  one lip? a half of lip? or if I pay more, do I get a permanent Joker look?  Yes, dear friends, Anna would do Botox or Plastic Surgery if she could afford it.

2.  I hate talk on the telephone.  Funny thing is I have talked on the telephone since I was 14 years old for my employment.  I was a receptionist, secretary, administrative assistant and a collections agent for many years.  Dare I say I was pretty good at talking on the phone.  Family and guests look at me like I am crazy when I let the telephone ring and not answer it.  I will write/type you a long letter, meet with you and talk for hours, and chat with you on Facebook but pick up the phone to call...urrrr!  This isn't good for the Mom and daughter relationship but I am getting better.  Now if you text me, I will text all day long...go figure!  This may seem rude but I have been this way for years.  Call it Telephone phobia, or maybe it's the impersonal technology. Either way...let's meet to talk.  You want to see my droopy mouth anyway.

3.  I love to dance.  Not just the slow dancing we older "parents" do at weddings, but all out hip hop, pop rocking, salsa and Dancing with the Stars stuff.  When I heard that Donna Summers died I was compelled to turn on her music and disco dance away...I refrained.  A thousand pounds from now I may just take some lessons.  I will some day "dance like no one is looking" ....well actually "no one" will be looking.  I can't embarrass the kids ya' know. 

So there you have it.  You may now have learned something you didn't know about me.  This so called Jesus girl with the red lipstick has silliness in her life.  I am real.  I am odd at times.  I am loved and fearfully and wonderfully made by our Lord God.
