Detour Ahead

Hello, my friends.  Today I am not posting due to illness.  Since last Thursday evening, I have been battling a virus of sorts.  Between bouts of nausea and digestion issues, I have be rather uncomfortable.  Last night I felt like the worse was over.  This morning I discovered I lied to myself.  So, here I sit and hope to get through this before abruptly having to leave.  Now that you understand my situation I want to share some websites with you. Take a little detour from my site today, but don't forget to check back tomorrow.

I have a friend of 10 years+, Steve.  He and his family are more like my family away from home.  He is the same age as my younger brother and often reminds me of my brother's sense of humor.  Steve is a Christian and ordained minister.  He is a spiritual helper to me and yet very human.  Steve's blog shares some deep rooted memories and then uses them to provide insight to God's grace and love. I hope you will look this site up and learn some truths and maybe even evaluate your current attitudes and/or standards we apply to others...especially our fellow brothers and sisters.  He also has some wonderful pics of his family and even shares some great music, which by the way is Steve's greatest gift.  He sings and plays piano beautifully.  Enjoy!

On a lighter note, if you are getting married, or know someone getting married, you need to check out this awesome website.  A friend of mine is getting married.  She is Miss Organization!  She is a college graduate, spiritually grounded, and genuine loving young girl.  She is beautiful to top it off.  Now this girl is getting married, so of course it will be an awesome wedding to commemorate a wonderful love and commitment.  She is marrying the son of my former pastor.  His name is Hunter. He is gorgeous and has a wonderful sense of humor.  He is from a good family.  The most endearing part of this relationship is that Hunter is on His way to Irag to serve there.  This couple has invited us to see the romance and on going plans of their wedding.  This is a love story for some of us.  However, maybe for you it is a good source for an idea of how to bring your guests and family in to the planning process. I know I feel connected to this couple.  Enjoy this site and maybe even wish the couple well and say a prayer for them.
