Anyways back to the SHORT post.
Last night a friend called me confessing her "sin". Now I thought her anger was justified but in actually we must remember to be angry and sin not. This morning she called. She had done her Bible study...so proud of her. She had done the Esther study that taught us through Mordecai that one must not depend on mood but a mindset. She was freed and repentant. She rectified her situation. It was such a testimony for me to learn from.
So this morning I am listening to my Christian radio station and a "Quick Word with Beth Moore" comes on. Ladies, she "slapped me right upside the head" (that's what my friend said to me this morning). here's what she said in part (for the whole 2 minute word go to BethMoore.org) :
Let's admit it sometimes we don't like the method of getting closer to Jesus because He uses trials and pain to drive us closer to His heart.
But, I want to tell you something it works. Those trials and that pain is never wasted. Never without divine purpose.
Each one is instrumental in getting us past
the FAKE.

Girlfriends, our trials sift us and reveal who we are in Jesus! Are we "Fake" Christians? I don't know about you but I have no toes. I am a "real" Christian but the way I handle trials might be exposing a character that isn't true to who Jesus is....like patient and loving, not loud and demanding. Ouch! Ladies, let's TAKE the trials and not "Fake" it. You can do it and so can I...thank God for GRACE. His precious Grace.
OKAY SO THE POST WASN'T SO SHORT. GOTTA GO! Woo Hoo!!

I know you think he's funny, but you've got a real romantic on your hands, I think. But he is funny.
And this is a great post. I've tried "faking it til I make it." In the end, all I ever end up with is a real mess. Faking it is not an option in Christianity. Authenticity is a must. Go, Beth!
